Opportunity for Public Comment on Development of NIST Measurement Science R&D Roadmap

Background
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) recently retained the National Institute of Building Sciences, Building Seismic Safety Council (BSSC) to publish Development of NIST Measurement Science R&D Roadmap: Earthquake Risk Reduction in Buildings (NIST GCR 13-917-23) (PDF 2.4MB). While the BSSC project engaged many national leaders in the earthquake engineering community, it was impractical to engage the entire community directly. NIST will consider both the roadmap and any comments received from the public as it formulates its future earthquake risk reduction R&D plans.
Deadline
All comments must have been received by 5 pm EDT on Friday, June 28, 2013. All of these comments will be collated and summarized in a list that will be posted on the NEHRP website (names and contact information will not be posted) for public knowledge.
