As required by Public Law 108-360, the NEHRP agencies will also develop the NEHRP Management Plan that will complement the 2006-2010 Strategic Plan. - 2008 NEHRP Budget
NEHRP is about synergy. The motivation for NEHRP has been the observation that the four diverse but complementary NEHRP agencies can accomplish more for reducing earthquake hazards in the U.S. by working together than they can by working separately. As the program agencies develop the proposed 2008 NEHRP budget, the agencies will work in partnership to fulfill the Congressional directive for the Interagency Coordinating Committee (ICC) that the budget be "a coordinated interagency budget that ensures balance among NEHRP activities."
